HISTORY, MYSTERY & SECRETS
Thursday, November 17, 2022  2PM

Sally J. Ling, local author and historian, reveals mysteries and secrets uncovered while researching topics on Boca Raton history. Sally will be speaking about her books including her latest foray into “cozy mysteries,” plus bring some of her beautiful handmade quilts for sale. (The heroine of her mysteries, Randi Brooks, owns a fabric store in Boca Raton.) In her presentation, Sally will share how she turned those secrets into historical nonfiction books and mystery novels and how the quilt show plays a vital role in one of her mystery series. Quilts on display at The Schmidt Boca Raton History Museum in November were made by Sally Ling. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the quilts will support the Boca Raton Historical Society.
