The A,B,C, Ds of Working With Appraisers;
 Doing Your Donation Right

 Sharon Kerwick has been appraising in South Florida from
 Palm Beach to South Beach since 1976.  She is a noted
 speaker and as an instructor for FAU has taught classes on
 antiques, silver, oriental rugs, and collectibles, as well as the
 profession of personal property appraising. Ms. Kerwick will 
 share her knowledge of how to work with property
 appraisers and what you need to know about your planned
 donation of antiques to museums or similar institutions.

 Addison Mizner: The Architect
 Whose Genius Defined Palm Beach
 
 Join us for a book signing and lecture about the newest
 publication on the innovative architect Addison Mizner, who
 put the tiny town of Boca Raton forever on the map. The
 authors are James Caughman and Stephen Perkin.
 Caughman is an independent historian who has lectured
 globally on furniture and design. Perkins is a practicing
 architect with a special interest in architectural history and

Community Presentations 


Presentations on the history of Boca Raton are available to groups, organizations, and businesses for a nominal fee. The history talks include historic photographs from the BRHS&M archives. History Tours


The Boca Raton Historical Society & Museum offers history tours to the community's residents and its visitors alike. These Heritage Educational  Tours are conducted by the Boca Raton Historical Society volunteers. The various tours include the Boca Express Train Museum, the Boca Raton Resort & Club, the City of Boca Raton, and Boca Raton History Museum.
