Weird Florida by Eliot Kleinberg
Join us for our first Town Hall Talks for the 2021-2022 season! On December 2, our presenter will be author and journalist Eliot Kleinberg, native Floridian and Boca Raton resident. He has spent nearly four decades as a reporter, including more than 30 years at The Palm Beach Post in West Palm Beach. Eliot is known for his local history columns “Post Time,” which ran for two decades, and “Florida Time,” which appeared in newspapers state-wide. He is the author of ten books on local history; his most recent book, Peace River, is a historical novel which takes place at the end of the Civil War. Eliot will present some of the wonderful but wacky true tales from his books Weird Florida and Weird Florida II. Town Hall Talks 2021-2022 are generously sponsored by Alina Schwartz
