Sentimental Journey: Boca Raton During World War II 
Dates: October 13, 2011 - March 30, 2012
In 1942, Boca Raton hosted the Army Air Corps' only war time radar training base. Until 1947, thousands of men and women were stationed in Boca Raton, then a town of about 700 residents. Learn about the base and 1940s Boca Raton in this exhibit.
Mizner Industries/ Mizner Style

Palm Beach society architect, Addison Mizner, created the "Palm Beach style" in the late 1910s. In order, to meet his needs, he founded his own factory, Mizner Industries. Mizner Industries grew into one of the largest manufacturing companies in Palm Beach in the 1920s. This exhibit includes many items from Mizner Industries produced for the Cloister Inn (today's Boca Raton Resort & Club).

The artifacts found in this exhibit once graced Addison Mizner's home on Worth Avenue in Palm Beach, Florida. Many of the artifacts represent products of Mizner Industries, others are actual antiques or decorative pieces in the "Spanish style" collected by Mizner and his agents in Europe.
